We will assist tenants in the potentially stressful process of referencing. We will assist our tenants throughout the whole process. The key to successful referencing is to be totally honest, not everyone has an exemplary financial history, this does not mean that someone could not become a good tenant.

The referencing process will include a credit check, previous landlord reference and employment reference. This whole process can be greatly improved if all the information provided by the applicant is complete and accurate, this includes:

  • Postcodes
  • Telephone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Contact names

Remember where information is concerned, more is always better.

Proof of residency

Proof of residency

Prospective tenants will be asked to provide proof of residency over the last 3 years. Examples of acceptable proof of residency would be:

  • Driving licence
  • Utility bill (not older than 3 months)
  • Council Tax bill
  • Housing Benefit/tax credit letter
Indentification

Proof of identification

We will ask to see at least two forms of identification, one of which must be photographic. Listed below are examples of required forms of identification.

  • Driving licence
  • Passport
  • Birth certificate
  • National Identity Card
